Plastic Man from DC Comics

Plastic Man # 1, DC Comics newest comic book hit stores recently, and I have only one word to describe this comic… “Wang!” That’s right I used Plastic Mans word of the day, and I’ll use it again, Plastic Man #1 is Wang!

Writer Gail Simone and artist Adriana Melo breath a new life into the already popular Plastic Man! In issue one of Plastic fans will be given the background story, mostly of a shifty con-artist who runs a Strip Club and winds up at the bottom of the pack. In a job gone bad, Mr. Eel O’Brian aka, Plastic Man ends up shot and thrown from a car and Dead?!

Plastic Man is one of the best reads coming out of this week’s releases, Eel O’Brian will pull you into the comic with his fun, quirky personality as he upholds the law, but in his own style, while trying to change his way making amends for past indiscretions.

If you’re looking for a fun, lighthearted well written comic, then I highly recommend Plastic Man #1. Plastic Man is available at White Dragon Comics and online readers can find several issues just like Plastic Man here on our DC Comics page.

A Walk Through Hell # 1

Garth Ennis and Aftershock Comics have done it again… A Walk Through Hell, Ennis’s newest hit comic book will capture your imagination and blow your mind! Part Cop/FBI Drama, part Mystery, part what the hell and some unimaginable horror, A Walk Through Hell # 1 has it all!

A Walk Through Hell starts off with a horrifying bang and from this point you start to realize that the writer (Ennis) is starting to build up to something… something Big. A Walk Through Hell takes readers through this comic as it is happening in real-time, with each page flipping thru the events, you’ll as if you are a part of the story!

Murder and mayhem, an FBI Agent haunted by something in her dreams and a developing mystery begin the story. Soon four agents will split into two groups of two, one group investigating a home and the other a warehouse; one team will disappear, a tactical team is called in to find them only to commit mass suicide (seconds after entering and quickly retreating from the warehouse). The other agents arrive and enter the warehouse oblivious to the events of the tactical team and this is where Ennis leaves us… UGH, frustration what is Going to Happen? Fans will have to wait till next month to find out.
