Probably the most famous monster of all time is Dracula, and Dracula
has many different versions of his beginning and his life-story. Aftershock Comics
have presented their version of the epic monster, the most feared and revered
vampire, Dracula in Brothers Dracul #1.
Every monster has its beginning, and each beginning has its
own story.
Targoviste 1462, a brother returns home and finds his lands bathed in blood. What could have happened… “Oh Brother what have You Done?”

Jump back 20 years, a father searches his boys and finds them being
held at sword point by the sultan’s men, “surrender” the Sultan orders, or your sons will die! The father wanting to protect his teenage boys does as the sultan wishes. The boy's are to be trained as part of the sultans army and their father to be held captive until he learns respect. Teenagers Radu and Vlad are to be trained along side the sultans son,
who takes every opportunity to let the boys know that he is the sultan’s son! The Sultans son leads Radu and Vlad into a cave, to find a something, man or beast and after finding it, what comes next?
This brings us to the close of issue #1 leaving fans on the edge of their seats
as they are introduced to something... man, monster or vampire? We’ll have to wait for
issue #2 to find out!
Brothers Dracul #1 is a well written comic book, does a good
job introducing characters and the artist’s rendition shows the emotions of the
characters as the story progresses! As
well as the background settings!
Cullen Bunn and Mirko Colak bring readers a new perspective to
a long-time villain, that has been told in several stories! I recommend
Brothers Dracul #1, in fact I give it two bites! Fans can find Brothers Dracul
#1 at White Dragon Comics and online costumers can find several Aftershock
Comic books for sale here at our online page, Aftershock Comics.
