It’s an All-New Green Lantern comic book making its way to
comic book stores everywhere, with a release date of November fans still have
time to order number one. Superstar writer Grant Morrison returns to DC
alongside red-hot artist Liam Sharp to launch the new, ongoing series.
Grant Morrison proclaims, “Instead of the big, epic, 12-part
stories, we’re focusing down on the everyday life of a space cop. Basically,
it’s no more apocalypse-ending storylines, the basic concept is that Hal Jordan
is like a space cop that patrols a sector of the universe where anything can
happen. We’ve made it more like a police procedural (IGN 2018).”
Green Lantern #1 will take fans to the beginning; re-telling
the origin of the first human Green Lantern. This all-new story starts when
Earths space cop, Hal Jordon finds an alien ship, that will set off a chain of
events, sure to rock the Green Lantern Corps and possibly the Multiverse!
