Painkiller Jane: The Price Of Freedom #1 Marvel Comics

While recuperating from a pulled tooth, I found myself with extra time on my hands, which allowed me to catch up on some great comic books. One of my favorite, which seemed appropriate for this particular day, was “Painkiller Jane: The Price of Freedom # 1.

Jimmy Palmiotti returns to his fan-favorite character, former police detective, Jane Vasko, with a new tale of murder and betrayal. This exciting issue brings back old characters and introduces some new ones, in particular, Princess Sabina Poonwalla, whom our heroine and her friends must protect from mysterious assailants with murderous intent.

Palmiotti and artist, Juan Santacruz have crafted a fast-paced action tale with enough mystery to keep you guessing and wondering what will happen next.
