Series Review: Grimm Fairy Tales presents 'Oz'

Zenescope Comics presents a new Oz, unlike anything you’ve read before.

"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

An unlikely hero, a simple farm girl who dreams of adventure is whisked to a new wondrous and dangerous world where she will find the adventure she has been yearning for.  Unbeknown to this simple farm girl, Dorothy, Highborn blood runs through her veins and with this highborn blood comes great power, a power that can be used to save Earth and The Four Realms. But, will Dorothy realize her potential before the Wicked Witches destroy her, along with everything else that stands in their way?

Zenescope brings us a new world in Oz. This Oz is vicious, terrifying and violent! No Cowardly Lion looking for courage or a Tin Man in need of a heart, no in this Oz we have a Ruthless Lion with an appetite for warfare and a Tin Man with an aggressive personality that is far from loving thy neighbor. And let us not forget the beloved dog Toto, not a little toy dog in this Oz, but a ferocious wolf with a passion for justice. And finally yet importantly our Dorothy, not the quiet, pouting, not quite sure of herself teenager, but a Fierce Warrior who has not realized her potential; and when she does, Oz will not know what hit it!

Oz is Zenescope’s best-selling comic to date, beating out Marvel’s Emerald City of Oz which was released at the same time. If your looking for a new spin on an old story then you must check out the new Zenescope Comic Book, “Oz”.
