The Curse of Brimstone # 1 was released this week, 4/4/2018
as part of Wednesday new comic book order and just happened to be the first
comic book that caught my eye. The Curse of Brimstone # 1’s cover is excitingly
demonic, sucked me right in, and am I glad it did! Curse of Brimstone # 1 is
sure to be DC Comics Newest Big Hit!
You know the adage, “be careful what you wish for; you just
might get it!” well Joe Chamberlain is about to find out… what he wished for is
about to come true.
Joe Chamberlain love his town of York Hills, which was once
a hub of commerce; jobs galore, social events and good neighbors, but like all
things good… York Hill soon became desolate. First the coal mines shut-down
than the industrial plants left and soon so would all the town-folks. Joe and
his sister, an aspiring nursing student are left with their poor dad. Dad was
hurt when the industrial phase was in full swing leaving him with a bad back
and on disability, a pittance of the pay he was receiving!
Joe want’s nothing more than his town back booming with prosperity
and for his sister to finish nursing school. But, life gets in the way what can
Joe due? He can wish for a new beginning for York Hills, his dad and his sister….
